What’s Inviroshield M5?

•”InviroshieldM5″ is that a visible light responsive photocatalytic coating agent developed for the purpose of controlling infectious diseases.

•Our photocatalyst coating agent was used in the city halls and ambulances of Hong Kong and Taiwan to prevent the spread of “Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome” (abbr: SARS) which was popular in 2003.

•”Inviroshield M5″ was developed in 2005 as a visible light responsive coating agent that can exert a photocatalytic effect with the light of indoor fluorescent lamps.

•Currently, we are supplying “Inviroshield M5” mainly in Asia such as Japan, China, Hong Kong, India, Singapore and Malaysia.

Technical maturity / Past record of introduction

・Our photocatalyst coating agent is used in the city hall buildings of Taiwan and Hong Kong and in ambulances in order to prevent the spread of “severe acute respiratory syndrome” (abbreviation: SARS), which prevailed in 2003.
・After that, ‘Inviroshield M5’ was developed in 2005 as a coating agent that can effectively show the photocatalytic effect for the indoor space.
・We have been supplying Inviroshield M5 in Hong Kong, India, Singapore, China and Malaysia until now.

Basecoat-S

Basecoat-S is used as a surface treatment agent when using products that do not have a protective material on the surface of the particles used in photocatalyst.
The reason for using this is to protect the base material from its decomposition performance, because the surface of the base material will be decomposed if the photocatalyst is applied directly.
It also improves adhesion, so it is also used for substrates with poor adhesion and aqueous photocatalyst solutions.

M-5 (Photocatalyst)

M-5 is a visible light responsive photocatalyst coating agent that can exhibit a photocatalytic effect under the lighting conditions of indoor fluorescent lamps and LEDs in addition to ultraviolet rays.
The antibacterial and deodorant effects in the room last for a long time.
The materials used for M-5 can be used outdoors for long periods of antifouling measures.
M-5 is the first registered product by Photocatalysis Industry Association of Japan.

M-TV2 is able to use for each textiles. It impregnate diluted about 20 – 40 times M-TV2 with textiles.
Then this textiles is drying and curing. It can make easy photocatalyst coating for textiles. Using photocatalyst is covered with SiO2. It excellents at general smelll substance adsorption capability.
